
On the 1st and 2nd of June 2023, INDASA held the first-ever Global Media Event at our headquarters in Aveiro, Portugal. The two-day event hosted trade press from 16 of the world’s leading automotive publications with the objective to showcase the significant investments supporting the INDASA value proposition.
For the first time ever, the factory doors were open to give exclusive access to the investment to our production and conversion capability. The history of the Brand and our ambition for the future.
We were delighted with the response and feedback from the Journalists who were able to gain in-depth knowledge of all things INDASA. UK’s Bodyshop Magazine’s editor, Simon Wait said “I’ve been amazed by the amount of investment, effort and time spent in building this facility, it’s mind-blowing, really special!”
Teresa Majeroni from Spain’s CESVIMAP agreed: “You have shown us INDASA from the very heart, with all the development and research behind this great brand. And the academy is a sample of how you apply it to your customers, bodyshops and painters.”
Ina Otto from Germany’s Schaden News added: “This event was great, to give journalists from all around the world the opportunity to learn more about your strategy, your production, and your brand. It was a pleasure taking part of this from a great organization.”
The Global Media Event is a combined effort from all departments of the Company. Andrew Tindall, Group Commercial Director said “we’re immensely proud of our story and we were delighted to share it with such an important element of our industry. Each activity was crafted by our respective experts which meant we were able to showcase what goes on behind the scenes in a way that hasn’t been shown before.”
Marketing Team Leader Tiago Matias said: “I am delighted that this event was wonderfully received, considering the huge milestone it was for us – and listening to the feedback from our guests, they thought it was a very immersive INDASA experience. It’s not everyday you get to welcome external sources to see the inner workings of your Brand.”
Group Technical Manager Humberto Placido commented: “From a technical perspective, we wanted to deliver an experience that is almost never seen by trade press. The response has been excellent from those who attended, and I can already feel a demand for similar style events.”
