What we have installed:
- The SATA® air visionTM 5000
What we like about it:
Absolute Safety through High Air Quality: an external supply of clean air (independent of ambient air) is provided to the spray booth, up to 100 times TRC value and suitable for continuous use. The respiratory hood protects against solvent vapor and isocyanates and is approved by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH).
Comfortable Breathing: no inhalation resistance provides the technician with soft-stream, flow-optimized air distribution in the hood.
High Level of Protection: suitable for prolonged application intervals with a reduced sound level of 64 dB (equivalent to a conversation at approximately 3 feet). The system protects painters’ respiratory tracts, eyes, skin and hair (especially important for the application of waterborne paints).
Ergonomic Design: the tip-up visor allows for one-handed operation and individual adjustments allow for customization in size, height, and position. A single, solvent-resistant tear-off visor ensures 100% visibility and reduction in light reflections.
Low Operating Cost: allows for a quick pay-off due to very little operating costs while technician comfort provides for increased productivity potential.
“At the INDASA USA Academy, we are focused on providing a safe, comfortable learning environment and the SATA® air visionTM 5000 gives our technicians access to the best safety equipment the industry has to offer. Our INDASA trainers appreciate the low sound level, ensuring our best practices are heard and allowing for a collaborative training environment. We want to set a standard for technician safety, comfort, and productivity to be recreated in the market and the SATA® air visionTM 5000 supports this.”
